Sharpen your skills at the Kyushindo seminar at The Pine Lodge, 5 October 2025
Join us for the annual Kyushindo seminar on Sunday 5 October 2025 at The Pine Lodge in Little Milton, Oxfordshire.
The seminar will be open to all Kyushindo instructors and students. This year, we're building on the success of our previous seminars with a new format designed to provide focused training for all.
Seminar location
The Pine Lodge is located at Thame Road, Little Milton, Oxfordshire, OX44 7PZ. It's an easy 2.5 mile drive south of Junction 7 on the M40. This is the same venue where we held our successful 2022, 2023 and 2024 seminars.
Schedule
We're splitting the seminar into sessions based on belt rank to maximise your training experience.
10.30am: Venue opens to allow time to organise mats. Students attending the first session should arrive at this time.
10.45am: Seminar starts
10.45am - 12.15 pm: Students up to blue belt (adults and juniors)
12.30 am - 3.30 pm: Brown belts and above (adults and juniors)
(Brown belts and above are welcome to join in with the first session if there is sufficient room on the day.)
What you will learn
This year's agenda is packed with practical techniques and analysis, including:
• Bag and pad work
• Techniques to improve karate sparring
• Pressure testing stances
• Applications of wing blocks
• Partnered practice
• Kata applications for Kyushindo 6 and 7
• Judo takedowns
Cost
£10 per adult / £5 per junior
Important information for instructors
To ensure everyone gets the most out of the seminar, we kindly ask all instructors to bring any striking bags and pads you have available. Please mark your equipment clearly to easily identify it at the end of the day.
